Boards & Committees

BHN Boards

Through the Board of Directors, Advisory Boards, and Committees and Workgroups, BHN forms the foundation for collaboration dedicated to developing an accessible and coordinated system of behavioral healthcare.

The Board is the governing body of BHN and is comprised of area leaders in acute and community based mental health and substance use care provision, advocacy, and state government. Directors serve two-year terms and may be re-elected for consecutive terms.

BHN Advisory Boards

ASAB members provide input and advice on initiatives that target adults, while also acting as a network of communication for the broader community. They represent providers, consumers, law enforcement, advocates, courts, funders, family members, and others serving the behavioral health community. Members can serve two three-year terms.

YYASAB members provide input and advice on initiatives that target youth and their caregivers, while also acting as a network of communication for the broader community. They represent providers, parents, advocates, juvenile justice, law enforcement, funders, schools, children and family services, and others involved in the treatment, care, and recovery of children with behavioral health issues.

Committees and workgroups guide BHN’s strategic initiatives, with membership based on expertise and interest.
